Here it is Wed. night and I think I'm finally feeling some better. When I get bronchitis it always seems like it trys to take me down. I don't have time to be sick anytime much less right here at Christmas time. Everyone is getting in the mood and things are really starting to look like the holidays will be here soon. I always look forward to the holidays, but if I don't watch out I bite off more than I can chew. I always want to do more than I should. I have 2 full days ahead of me at the beauty salon. (Bravo) is where I work. I enjoy working there because I like all the girls there and I just like making my friends "More Beautiful". I'm also excited about all the deals in the campagine 1 Avon book.">. I would love to have you go there and check out some of the deals and feel free to purchase and enjoy some of these nice items.

Still learning
Well here I am again finally. I woke up sick early sunday morning and waited to see the Doc for 3hrs 40 mins. today. I was just happy to get to see him. Got a shot and prescription and hopefully will be better long before Christmas. I'm looking forward to Christmas as usual. I love the moods and attitudes of most people at this time of year. Just the fact that Jesus sent His Son to the world to save us from our sins makes me HAPPY. Thank you Lord for sending your Son. Have most of what I'm doing already done. I'm so tickled about learning to blog and all the things that go with it. I'm going to put up a craft that I picled up at Hobby Lobby. I make a lot of crafts myself and will be sharing them with you, but soooo busy right now we'll just share this one.

Sunday Morning
Well Its Sunday morning and I'm sitting at home with full blown bronchitis. I was fine (I thought) when I went to bed. Guess not!!! I had a busy day yesterday and breezed right through it. Then last night before going to bed I made 2 kinds of dessert for the church Christmas lunch today. I made the best chess squares and gooood brownies with fresh (BIG CHUNKS) black walnuts. I have a friend in Tennessee who gets all the black walnuts off a big old tree and fixes them to use and give away. I'm the happy recipient of part of that crop each time that she has them. I've know her now for several years so we've been best friends for a over 40 years. You would have to be a best friend for me to clean, hull, crack and pick out black walnuts and give them away. That is exactly what she does and loves every minute of it especially when she hands them to you and says ENJOY with a big smile on her face. She is a vegetarian and is a wonderful cook. Can you tell...I love her very much. Everyone needs a friend like her. Well guess I've rambled enough but wanted to tell you about the good food. Hopefully I'll feel a little better afterwhile and be able to get some things done that I badly need to do. You know like...laundry,cleaning,wrapping gifts, putting up tree and a little cooking.

Today and learning.
Well its thursday morning and I'm off to work. I love making people more beautiful. They are already beautiful when they sit in my chair, so their visit to me just makes them feel more beautiful to themselves. I don't work as hard as I used to but still love it. I didn't tell you but I also sell a little Avon and tonight is the Christmas party. I look forward to going there tonight and seeing all the new things coming in the next months and eating some good food. We always enjoy visiting too. I'm going to be slow getting this blog going as I have to learn more about the computer along with just learning to blog. I'm really looking forward to getting to know some or all of you along the way.Have a Great day and I'll see ya later!

Creation of a new blog by a green...blogger!
Well here we go on a new adventure for an old woman. I'm 70 yrs old and have enjoyed all kinds of things in my lifetime. I have had 2 husbands both of which have enjoyed their life and gone on to a greater life. I was married to Bill 25 years lacking a few months and then after he passed, one of my customers thought I needed someone and introduced me to Fred. Fred and I dated for 9 months and then married. We were married just over 18 years before he passed away. They were both good men and I had 2 good marriages and it seems like lots of people haven't had 1. I have 2 grown children, 2 grown step daughters, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. I have been a hairstylist for 50 years and still do hair 2 to 3 days a week. I love to twig hair, cook and craft among other things. I teach a 1st grade sunday school class and help with Awanas on wed. night. I come from a large family and love every one of them dearly. We always have so much fun when we get together. We love to eat, visit and play with the young ones. We spend many hours telling about what we did when we were growing up and laughing until we cry or pee ourselves. There is 1 boy and 5 girls...poor little brother. He loves every minute! I'm planning on sharing some of our stories, receipes and lots of crafty tutorials. Hopefully I'll be able to share and enjoy doing it all at the same time. This is surely a new adventure for me.
